We went live the 7th of December 2011. That is just 25 days ago.

The support and ensuing results have been amazing and that is, of course, thanks to you who are just reading this article. We have more followers and we have received more requests for being a contributor or a guest writer than we ever thought would be possible in such a short time.

This is still just the beginning and for the 2012 we are rolling out the big guns. Read more

Advice Requested on a Twitter Anomaly. A Reward Given for Advice.

We are making a request to both the twitter advocates and advisers, as well as, to the majestic blogosphere.

We need your help to sort out the statistics of our Twitter account: Why do people unfollow as soon as they follow? Is it a new Twitter trend, is it due the nature of our tweets, is it a normal percentage (statistics are below) and we just haven’t noticed it in other occasions, is it something we do, or something totally else? Is there some way it could be avoided?

Any and all help in solving this anomaly is more than appreciated!

Foreword for Viral Marketing

Could you believe that we’re not the first ones to discuss viral marketing? Not even the first ones to discuss it in depth? There are currently 327.000 web pages that correspond to the Google search query of “what is viral marketing”.  It is in Wikipedia, and I bet someone even took the time to write about it to a real word hard copy encyclopedia. The trusty old Amazon even has 2.755 books both of the e- and m-variety and of the still standard range*, that say something about it. I didn’t bother to look at what Bing says (who on earth would?).

So why should we add the web page hit total to 327.001 with the “what is viral marketing”? Because viral marketing is exciting. Because, if successful, it is the most potent form of marketing in existence. It just, honest enough, deserves a proper run through. Read more

What is Viral Marketing?

As we mentioned in the Foreword for Viral Marketing, there are currently 327.000 web pages that correspond to the Google search query of “what is viral marketing” (or probably even more as you read this).  The definition for viral marketing can be read in Wikipedia and from tons of other sources. We are not going to try to redefine it, but instead use a simple well-formed definition, that nails it. Read more

Sustainable Philosophy for Design Leaders.

One quote taken out of context could be termed as the design philosophy behind the most successful products and solutions today.

“Somehow we’ve come to associate progress with more sophistication and complexity in our technology, and yet simplicity is often the more elegant solution…

…and the more sustainable”

- Sally Lever
